Have you ever wondered why cities like Austin, Seattle, Bostonand Savannahare known as film friendly towns?  Can Chattanoogajoin this elite list?  Please join us for an audience-participation “visioning’ event where the question will be asked “How can we build and sustain a viable film culture in Chattanooga?” During the course of the evening, every person in attendance will be given an opportunity to help answer the question. Eleanor Cooper, a leader in Chattanooga’s popular visioning process of the last

25 years will be facilitating the evening. The goal of the event is to prioritize and guide our combined efforts to grow the film culture in Chattanooga. The event will be open to the public and we encourage film lovers, students and film/tv professionals to attend. Non-AFFT members are welcome and it is our hope that a broad, cross-section of city residents join us. The only qualifier is that attendees be lovers of film and realize the potential for what a vibrant film culture can do for our region.
