United States Power Squadrons

The United States Power Squadrons hope to help make boating fun and safe for everyone on the water.  The Chattanooga chapter of  US Power Squadrons will be hosting boating safety classes starting April 6th.  The 5 week America’s Boating Course is designed to help you learn boating safety requirements, operator responsibilities, rules of the road, how to chart your course, communications, and more.  You call Sue Kuemmel at 832-474-3822 for more information or register for the boating safety course with the Chattanooga Sail and Power Squadron.

    I’ve met Jim and Sue Kuemmel and I heard that Ms Sue went from never having touched a steering wheel on a boat to steering a 47 foot trawler on a 3 week journey down the coast and up the Tenn-Tom Waterway in about a year. And most of her training was through US Power Squadron.

    Guess they must be doing something right!
