LifeLine’s Transition Academy

REPORTING:  RABBIT ZIELKE

Hamilton County Department of Exceptional Education and the  Chattanooga Area Resource and Education Project of LifeLine Inc.  are teaming up to provide a Transition Academy on April 17th at Howard School of Academics and Technology.  For special education students nearing the end of high school, the transition plan is a very important part of their educational and personal goals.  Transitioning from services provided by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act to services through the Americans with Disabilities Act can be daunting.  The Transition Academy will help families and students navigate that process.

Pre-registration is encouraged to attend the workshops.  You can register online or by calling (423) 622-4007.
