The Chattanooga Theatre Centre presents “The Primitive Streak,” by Hunter Rogers on the Circle Stage through April 10th. Here’s the video promotion for this “dramedy” which won the Theatre Centre’s biennial Festival of New Plays.
Hunter Rogers and the plays Director, Hope Alexander discuss “The Primitive Streak” for WUTC listeners. Rogers and Alexander urge Chattanoogans to attend this and other local theater productions.
Alexander grew up in theater as the daughter of an actress. She has worked with major playwrights like Edward Albee in a production of “Tiny Alice” and Tennessee Williams. She also toured the U.S. with actor Michael Redgrave performing a “Night of Shakespeare” for audiences. And she appeared as a character in the new “WKRP in Cincinnati.” Alexander recently moved to the Tennessee Valley from California. Here’s a link to Alexander’s filmography.
