Chattanooga’s Most Unique Farm, Part 01

Williams Island Farm is unique because, as the name suggests, it’s on an island in the middle of the Tennessee River, near downtown Chattanooga.  The only way to get there is by boat or canoe.  I recently visited the farm, and as I took a tour, I talked to the farmers about the challenges and the advantages of having such an unusual location.  We also discussed their strong commitment to sustainable farming.
