The Creative Discovery Museum in downtown Chattanooga is hosting a special summer exhibit designed to attract kids by featuring things that are totally gross. Based on a best-selling children’s book Grossology, the (Impolite) Science of the Human Body, the exhibit has interactive stations that explain the human body and important things like snot, farts, burps, and pimples.
The Grossology exhibit is also the first time the Creative Discovery Museum has included animatronics. These robotic characters will interact with the children, teaching them about how the human body functions and answering those all important questions like “Why do I burp when I drink soda?” and “Where does snot come from?”.
The exhibit opens Saturday, May 29th and continues through Labor Day. In addition to the Grossology exhibit, the museum is offering special science demonstrations in the auditorium. Call the Creative Discovery Museum for the schedule of demonstrations (423) 756-2738.
