Life in a Pond at the Enterprise South Nature Park

Life in a Pond is an educational family outing planned by the Hamilton County Department of Parks and Recreation for the Treasure Hunters 2010 program.  The event will take families into Enterprise South Nature Park to discover life in the wetland areas.  Children and their parents will begin with a hike to Hidden Lake and spend the day learning about the signs of wildlife and pond ecosystems.  Life in a Pond will be Friday, July 2 from 9 am to 1 pm.  Pre-registration is required for this event by June 30th.

Kids Time continues with free activities every Thursday at 10 am at the Tennessee Riverpark Shelter #4.  June 24th will feature the Chattanooga Zoo and endangered species.  On the final Kids Time event, July 22nd, the Creative Discovery Museum will be featuring “Good for me & You”.  You will need to pre-register and pay a small fee or the final Kids Time.  The other weeks are free.

The Mothers & Sons Bowling Night will be Saturday, July 17th from 6 – 8 pm.  Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.  Pre-registration is encouraged.
