You see the headlines day after day. Gang violence, high crime rates, inner city neighborhoods producing another generation with no hope. The City of Chattanooga Department of Education Arts and Culture is getting together with other organizations around town to host an evening of music and fashion. Culture Shock is an event designed to benefit the youth of Chattanooga by bringing together Hip Hop, R&B, and contemporary artists with a new message; a message of hope for a positive future. T-Ran from 22Visionz will be hosting the event July 10, 2010 at the First Tennessee Pavilion.
Culture Shock features Canton Jones, Da Truth, T-Ran, Pettidee, KAS, Senetra, Weaver, Big City, DJ Will, Ternae, Fifty Five, Radical Praise, Da Chosen, and more. The pre-event begins at 5:00 pm with the main concert beginning at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available in advance by calling 723-476-4632. You can also purchase tickets at the event.
