September 18th, in Chattanooga, thousands of motorcycle riders will gather at Ross’s Landing and travel to Alabama. They’ll recreate part of the route Cherokees were forced to take, during the Indian Removal Act, in the 1830’s. It’s called the Trail of Tears Remembrance Ride, and it’s a massive event every year, with around 30,000 riders participating.
