(October 5, 2010) – The Young Professionals Association Of Chattanooga (YPAC) is excited to invite the community to the Fourth annual YP Awards this Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Warehouse Row.
The event theme for this year’s YP Awards is “Jetset”, a tour of food and music from countries around the globe without leaving the Scenic City. Tickets are $30 per person and include unlimited beer and wine, food from five local establishments representing countries around the world, and entertainment by DJK7. Cocktail Attire is recommended.
YPAC hosts the event each year to honor local professionals and this year’s event introduces three new awards: YP Artist, YP Entrepreneur, and YP Community Service. The nominees for 2010 are:
Young Professional (YP) of the Year: Cara Ables Hicks (Keller Williams), Lindsey Houston (Decosimo), Stratton Tingle (Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce), Jessica Stone (TVA) and Amanda Carmichael (Carmichael Management).
For YP Friendly Business: EPB, WTCI, Suntrust Bank, First Tennessee Bank and River City Company.
YP Artist: Jessica Martin (Create Here & Easy! Designs), Shaun LaRose (Painter), Mia Bergeron (Painter), Isaac Duncan III (Sculptor) and Matt Dutton (Mixed Media).
YP Entrepreneur: Ethan Collier (Collier Construction), Daniel Ryan (The PressCore, Inc./Freelance Web Developer), Andrew Gage (Velo Coffee), Caleb Ludwick (26 Tools, LLC) and John Hawbaker (The PressCore, Inc.).
YP Community Service : David Barlew (David R.Barlew Architects), Megan Dearing (Junior Achievement), Nathan Frazier (1800 Pack Rat), Rachael Welch (TVA) and James McKissic (Urban League of Greater Chattanooga).
