Camille Hollstrom brings One-Woman Show to Covenant College

From Covenant College’s Department of Theater and Film Studies, Professor Camille Hallstrom describes the writings of Martin Luther:

“Luther devoted a surprisingly large amount of his prolific writings to the details of married life,” says Hallstrom. “The result is an unusually well-rounded portrait of an unusual and well-rounded woman. On the surface, the couple would appear to have been incompatible, but in spite of their considerable differences, the pair managed to foster a passionate and joyous relationship.  In spite of the passion and joy, they also managed to foster a good bit of comic, rough-and-tumble, mutual frustration. They stand as one of the most colorful couples in all of Western history and literature.”
