Haley Mills and Michael Tavares spend their summers kayaking on the rivers of Colorado and have spend summers working with Tom Sawyer’s Christmas Tree Farm selling fresh cut Christmas trees at Eastgate Town Center Mall. Haley is training for the world championship free style kayak competition in Germany next June and appreciates our warmer southern winters for training.
The holiday trees Haley and Michael have available are fresh cut, possibly the day before they arrive at the lot. All of the trees are grown at Tom Sawyer’s Christmas Tree Farm and Elf Village in North Carolina. Once you select your tree, they will make a fresh cut from the bottom of the tree, wrap it to keep it safe, and help you get it on to your vehicle. Once your tree arrives at its destination you should keep it watered and enjoy the fresh scent of Fraser Fir.
If you prefer to cut your own tree you can visit the farm in North Carolina and spend some time in the elf village while you are there. Children young and old can enjoy story time in the Elf Village and walk through a Christmas Tree maze. You can also spend time in a craft room making holiday decorations or just relax by the special Post Office while writing that letter to the North Pole. The entire family can enjoy a ride around the farm with Santa.
The Christmas Tree Lot at Eastgate Town Center Mall will be open 9 am to 9 pm until December 23rd. A portion of the proceeds of every tree sold at the Christmas tree lot at Eastgate Town Center Mall will be donated to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital.
Listen to the story.
