The Partnership for Families Children and Adults provides financial counseling through the Consumer Credit Counseling Service. To help promote financial goals in the new year, the Partnership’s Consumer Credit Counseling Service has provided a 12 step formula to financial success in 2011.
Some of the steps seem like common sense but provide a gentle reminder to pay attention to your debt. There are often simple ways to reduce debt as well, such as avoiding those late payments and overdraft fees that add up quickly to even more debt. The 12 step formula can be found here.
The Consumer Credit Counseling Service offers many services free of charge and can be contacted to schedule training and information sessions for groups. Individuals can set up appointments for confidential counseling services and follow-up coaching to help stay within budget. Call 423-697-7130 for more information.
