The Chattanooga Autism Center, in partnership with the Autism Society of America East TN Chapter, will host its 2nd annual conference for parents and professionals on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 8am to 4:30pm at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Last year we had over 200 attend and reached capacity! With our new venue and buzz from last year, we expect 500 people to attend this year.
- Provide skills and information parents can use immediately to impact their families’ lives
- Train educators, therapists, caregivers and medical professionals on the latest empirically-based techniques for treating people with ASD
- Involve the community in developing needed programs and services specific to Chattanooga and surrounding regions
- Increase public awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorders.
CEU’s for the 2nd Annual Autism Conference have been approved and will be issued by The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The conference provides 6 contact hours that equals .6 CEU’s.
