The Medical Society and Medical Foundation of Chattanooga work with doctors and medical facilities in Chattanooga to help coordinate medical services for low income uninsured residents. Project Access has coordinated $68.5 million in donated care with an average of $1 million donated medical care services distributed monthly. Denim and Diamonds is the annual fundraiser that honors the volunteer physicians and helps make this program possible.
Denim and Diamonds will be held Saturday, February 26th at 7:00 pm. This year the event will be held at the Chattanooga Convention and Trade Center. Pone 423-622-2872 for reservations. There is an online auction featuring donations from area artists and merchants. Bidding for the online auction closes February 23.
