The Chattanooga Medical Society and Medical Foundation of Chattanooga are hosting the 7th annual Youth Leadership Forum this summer to encourage high school students to consider careers in medicine. This highly competitive program provides forums and workshops to provide information on preparing for medical school, academic requirements, ethics and myths in medicine. The students will also shadow physicians for part of each day.
Students that have completed the Youth Leadership Forum can apply to participate in Future Docs, a program with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. This expands the experience of the Leadership Forum.
Nominations for the program are being accepted until April 15th. For more information contact Kevin Lusk or Rae Bond at 423-622-2872.
