E-Book Revolution Arrives At Chattanooga Public Library

If you own an iPhone, an iPad, or a Barnes and Noble Nook, you’ll be happy to hear this: The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library now has e-books available for download.

From the library’s Web site:

New E-Books Collection Is Available Now!

The Public Library would like to announce our new E-Book Collection. Due to popular demand from both patrons and staff we are now building on this newest innovation in reading. You will need an E-Reader with EPUB capabilities. If you’re not sure about your e-reader, check the Overdrive Website for a list or contact the manufacturer of your e-reader. We will be focusing on bestselling authors and summer reading books for our Teen patrons. If you would like to make a request just contact the library. We will process requests as money becomes available.

Overdrive has also announced that they will be providing our library patrons with Project Gutenberg, one of the largest collections of free domain books available in e-book format in July of this year.
