Bella Sera Happens April 9th, 2011

The much anticipated Bella Sera event is quickly approaching for the local non-profit, Chattanooga Endeavors.  Tickets can still be purchased for the event to be held at the Tennessee Aquarium on Saturday, April 9th, 6-10pm by or by calling 423.266.1888.

As one of Chattanooga’s most anticipated events, this year promises to be another memorable evening.  At the premiere Tennessee Aquarium, the evening will consist of unlimited tapas from several local chef-driven restaurants, unlimited wine pairings, silent auction and live musical entertainment featured throughout the venue.

Restaurants featured include Table 2, Porter’s Steakhouse, Blue Water Grille, Alleia, Earth Fare, Blue Orleans Downtown, Greenlife Grocery, Lupi’s, Niko’s Southside Grille, Neidlov’s and Chattz Coffee. Specialty tapas and desserts will be prepared and served with wine pairings provided by Riverside Wine and featuring wine makers from around the world. A premier ticket option gives the seasoned wine connoisseurs an extensive wine tasting experience.

Guests will enjoy their enhanced Aquarium experience while listening to an array of musical entertainment  from jazz to blues to mountain folk music.  Featured artists include: Ogya, Ben Fribeg Trio, Joy Rogers & Rachael Sutton, Mark “Porkchop” Holder and New Binkley Brothers.

The silent Auction portion of the evening will allow guests to competitively bid on selections such as fine wine, local art, unique getaways, entertainment and a variety of other much desired items.

Fire roasted plantaine with duck confit and orange marmalade

Chattanooga Endeavors spokesperson Tim Dempsey stated “The Bella Sera Event is CEi’s largest fund-raising effort of the year and is a crucial aspect that allows us to carry through our efforts as a non-profit from year to year.” Based in Hamilton County, TN, CEi provides training, counseling and education services to assist former offenders as they transition from incarceration to free society.  In achieving its mission, the organization operates two divisions:  A training division (CEi Services) that is funded by charitable contributions and a staffing division (CEi Works) that, when fully implemented, will be self sustaining through related business income.
