So many buildings sustained damage during the severe storms of April 27th. People are working to salvage what they can and begin repairs where possible. The Chattanooga Fire Department warns property owners to have their buildings inspected if the building sustained storm damage. A tree falling on the roof might cause enough damage to the structural integrity of the building and could increase the potential for danger. Structures that have lost portions of walls or the roof could possibly collapse without the benefit of professional shoring and supports. Contact a licensed contractor if your property was damaged.
