The human body is 60% water. According to the Mayo Clinic the average person will loose the equivalent of about 9 glasses of water daily which can be restored through consuming foods and liquids. When you loose more fluid than you take in you risk dehydration. This condition can lead to medical issues including fatigue, headaches, constipation, damage to organs and potential death. Access to water is limited for the homeless population. Bottled water provides an easy portable source for people with no place to live. The Community Kitchen is hosting a drive to collect donations of bottled water to distribute to the homeless.
