After 150 Years, Josephine Hooke’s Civil War Diary Is Finally Published

Raymond Evans and David Scott will sign copies of their book Chattanooga Refugees: The Diary of Josephine Hooke at the downtown Chattanooga library on Saturday, August 20th at 2 p.m.  It’s the complete text of a diary written by a young woman who fled Chattanooga during the Civil War.  Evans and Scott have added additional historical material and photographs to the text.  The book will also be available soon online, through CASIPublishing.com
